I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Johnny three times. Liked him very much. He signed The Tablecloth at his show NBC Studios in Burbank September 16, 1987.
That was a very exciting moment for The Tablecloth, Julie and me. I drove from St. Louis to Santa Monica to meet with Johnny to take pictures for my Gallery on June 21, 1996. That was an interesting half hour in his office talking show business, tennis and drummers. He was in the middle of packing to fly to London for the Wimbledon Tennis Tournament. A relaxed and comfortable meeting with this "Legend of Legends". It was most enjoyable and successful. Johnny was terrific.
